Arcterra, a private development/civil-engineering firm with headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska has a number of permanent, full-time or part-time positions available. Arcterra offers a challenging and informative work environment. We are looking for candidates who are eager to be part of a dynamic engineering and development team.

Civil Engineer. The successful civil engineering candidate will have a minimum B.S. degree from an ABET-accredited civil engineering program. Successful completion of the EIT is desirable, but not necessary. Prior experience in construction or civil engineering field is desired.

Technical Services. The successful candidate will have a minimum experience of two years of college-level courses or work experience in civil engineering, surveying, and/or construction. Applicant must be proficient with AutoCAD and Windows-based programs.

Candidates for these positions must:

• Be team oriented and client focused;
• Have a solid understanding of business practices;
• Work well under pressure and have the ability to manage multiple projects;
• Be able to prioritize assigned projects with an understanding of their potential impact on the bottom line;
• Be able to work in the field;
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain good client relationships;
• Be computer literate, and extremely familiar with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
